Day 3 of the job as CD on Google at 72and Sunny Amsterdam saw me on an airplane for London to get stuck in on the edits of a Google Stories campaign. They were a series of nice documentary stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things with Google Products. With 2 films shot for Germany, 2 films shot for the UK and 1 film shot for France, there was plenty to do. Like meeting the people I would be working with, and trying to understand who Google was as a client. These are 3 of the films I helped out with. It was a super nice way to get my feet wet, and was foreshadowing for the intense/productive Google storm that was coming over the next 4 years. This film is about Andrew Willis who had no budget and 4 weeks to construct a skatepark in East London With all his time, energy and with a little help from Google search, he managed open the skate park on time for his community.
