This is the case film for Les Heures Magiques. As the longer days of summer approached, we worked with Google France to create a mobile platform to help people enjoy the sunshine, break out of their routines, and understand the power of the Google app. We spent a lot of time in Paris that spring, walking around and surveying bocci courts, ping pong tables and parks. The tagline we used for the project was ’51 ideas to enjoy Paris with the Google app.’
We invited people out into the evening to play by creating a film with the 13 x French Champion, and 1x World Champion table tennis player, John Philippe Gatien. Part 1 of the film is called ‘Ping’. Part 2 below is called ‘Pong’. If you haven’t see world class tabe tennis up close for yourself, I highly recommend it.
As summer turned to fall we freshened up the platform, partnered with influencers and the mayor’s office of the city of Paris, and put on events for people to attend. Events included; a night time light ride through the streets of Paris; an InstaMeetup neon safari with influencers as guides; a cooking workshop where the main course was crickets; a week long freegan pop up restaurant; and an underwater concert. Paris is rad at night. The tagline we used for the second wave of the campaign was ’31 nights to rediscover Paris with the Google app.’
